In this edition of Owl's Progress Notes, we have made changes for how clients create accounts, made several updates to payor management, claims status functions have been added to the Workflow section, as well as implemented various bug fixes.
Changes to Client Portal
We have made several updates to streamlined the client portal experience. You can now more easily be sent an invitation portal if they have not signed in yet where they can create their own password. To get started, select the Invite Client to Portal button in the top right of the page.

Next, enter the client's email address and fill out the email invitation email with your desired information. When finished select Send Invite.

The client will receive an email with a direct link to sign in for the first time in the new client portal by creating a new password and then selecting Create Account. They may also be prompted to enter other information such as their date of birth and phone number.

If you have already sent an invitation to the client, then a notification box will appear with the time and date the invitation was last sent.

Payor Updates
Payor Lookup
You can now search for Payors within Owl. First, go to Settings, Insurance, select the Payors tab, and the select the Lookup Payors button.

From here you can search for Payors by their ID or name. After selecting the desired Payors, select Enroll in the bottom right.

Saving Payors
You can also save Payors to a list. Simply select Add Payor(s) and Save from the payor search menu and they will appear in your payor list as Not Started.

Enrollment Request Menu
You can now request enrollment directly from the Payor menu in Owl under the Insurance section of Settings. Select a Payor that has an Enrollment Status of Not Started, select Actions and then Enroll Payor(s).

From here, you can select the billing profile(s) that you wish to attach to the payor and whether or not this payor requires a supervisor.

Uploading Payor Documentation
You can now upload documents to payors from Owl! Simply select Upload Documents from the Enrollment Request menu.

Reviewing Payor Enrollment Requests
After completing the enrollment request, you can review all of the information that is entered to ensure its accuracy before selecting the acknowledgement check box and then selecting Submit to finish the enrollment process.

Payor lookup indicates if further action is required
If further action is required with a the enrollment process, it will be labeled as Action Required.

Claims Status functions have been added to the Workflow section
Claims status functions have been added to the Workflow section of Owl. Simply select a session and then select More Actions and you will now have the options to Edit Claims and Void Claims.
