In this edition of Owl's Progress Notes, users can now email the CMS-1500 form directly from Owl, comments can now be added to claims, and changes to how telehealth works with iPads, along with other bug fixes.

Emailing CMS-1500

To email the CMS-1500 form directly from Owl, simply select Send Email from the CMS-1500 menu on the left hand side, then select the recipient or add a recipient, add an attached message, add a password if you elect to do so, and then select the Send Email button.

Claims Comments

You can now add comments to a claim at any time during the process. Simply select a claim, then select More Actions,  and then Add/View Comments.

From here you can add any comments that you wish up to a max of 400 characters.  When you are finished, select Save Comment.

Telehealth on iPads

Camera options have been streamlined for iPad users to better reflect their system specifications.  Unusable option camera options are no longer present and the system will now default to the front ultra-wide camera.
